Eddie Arndts rauchiger kraftvoller Gesang, das volltönende Fundament seines Gitarrenspiel sowie das durch irische Tanzmusik und amerikanische Cajunmusik inspirierte Akkordeonspiel von Thomas Hecking gehen eine energiegeladene Verbindung ein. Im Repertoire der beiden befinden sich typisch Irische Jigs und Reels, Songs aus dem Bereich Keltische Musik sowie Lieder aus dem Rock und Popbereich im irischen Gewand…eine Mischung bei der es die Zuhörer nur schwer auf den Stühlen hält. Vorwiegend hausgemachte, handgefertigte Musik mit ehrlichen Texten, die das Leben inspiriert. Das Konzept der Hutveranstaltung soll die einbeziehen, die sich Kulturerlebnisse nicht, oder nur unter Problemen leisten können. Eddie Arndt's smoky, powerful vocals, the full-sounding foundation of his guitar playing and Thomas Hecking's accordion playing, inspired by Irish dance music and American Cajun music, form an energetic combination. Their repertoire includes typical Irish jigs and reels, songs from the Celtic repertoire as well as songs from the rock and pop genres in an Irish guise...a mixture that keeps the audience on the edge of their seats. Mainly home-made, handcrafted music with honest lyrics that are inspired by life itself. The concept of the hat event is intended to include those who cannot afford cultural experiences or can only afford them with difficulties. Those who can afford it pay a little more to honour the appreciation of the artistic performance.
